APPROVAL OF BUILDING, SITE h OPERATION PLAN
RESOLUTION #P.C. 170-07
FOR MMSD DUMPING WASTE IN THE TESS CORNERS INDUSTRIAL PARK
MANHOLE ON COLLEGE COURT
WHEREAS, It is proposed to dump waste in the Tess Corners
Industrial Park manhole, and
WHEREAS, This site would be open for a 10 hour period on
weekdays and an 8 hour period on weekends, and
WHEREAS, The site will not be used without an operator
being on the premises, and
WHEREAS, This site is to accomodate haulers from property
owners who are forced to install holding tanks and other septic
systems, and
WHEREAS, It is agreed that temporary facilities would be
provided for the first six months on a trial basis, and
WHEREAS, These temporary facilities would consist of a
small construction shed, a portable outhouse and electric power.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the temporary facilities for MMSD for the dumping of seweraee on
a six month trail basis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all trucks loaded or unloaded
approach the site through College Avenue and not use Tess Corners
Drive either for entering or exiting.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission shall have
the option for a monthly trial extention after the initial six
month period for continued evaluation of the site.
