APPROVAL OF FILLING IN WETLAND

WHEREAS, It is proposed to fill in what is considered
wetland by SEWRPC and the DNR, and
WHEREAS, There is a potential building site to be
constructed, and
WHEREAS, This is now not mapped as wetland by the City but
has future potential based on the DNR map prepared by SEWRPC to
be zoned wetland and regulated by local ordinance (yellow area).
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the filling in of the wetland in accordance with Chapter 8.17 of
the zoning ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval doesn't usurp
the authority of the DNR and the Corp of Engineers from
prohibiting this area from being filled.
