WHEREAS, The State of Wisconsin has mandated that the

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Planning Commission
recommend to the Common Council to repeal and recreate Section
8.17 of the zoning ordinance in accordance with the attached text
of the newly created wetland/shoreland district.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommend
to the Common Council that the proposed district map as outlined
by SEWRPC and the City including the red areas for the state and
the local yellow and blue areas be incorporated on the Zoning
district map.

WHEREAS, The State of Wisconsin has mandated that the

WHEREAS, The remapping of these areas has been completed by
SEWRPC and the City, and
WHEREAS, A public hearing before the Common Council will be
held on December 9, 1986.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Planning Commission
recommend to the Common Council to amend Section 9.10 of the
zoning ordinance by creating an overlay zone district which
identifies the wetland/shoreland areas indicated in red on the
SEWRPC map and regulated in accordance with the attached text of
the newly created wetland/shoreland district.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommend
to the Common Council that those wetland/Floodplain areas
indicated in yellow on the SEWRPC map be incorporated into our
existing zone district map and be regulated by our existing zone
district requirements under Section 8.17 (WF) Wetland/Floodplain
District.

November 18, 1986. The auestion was whether the uodated SEWRPC
REVIEW - RESOLUTION #P.C. 203-86 - Mayor Salentine asked
map which indicates all wetland areas designated ai either red
(state controlled) or yellow (city controlled) be the official
designated before the SEWRPC update are now out or date and
representation and that the blue (uetland/floodplain) areas
