APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL USE FOR
ICETRONAUTS SNOUMOBILE CLUB
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has been petitioned for a
condtional use in the SW 1/11 of Section 21 at the SE corner of
Racine Avenue and Parker Drive, and
WHEREAS, This petition is for a outdoor recreational
facility and use of the property which is permitted on this
district under conditional use, and
WHEREAS, The public hearing has been held, and
WHEREAS, It is proposed to use the site five (5) times a
year.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the conditional use with the following conditions:
1) That only three contests be allowed including the truck
and tractor event, also one club picnic, and one snowmobile
safety course be conducted.
2) That the fencing and bleachers be removed within one
week after each event.
3) That the cement blocks will be recessed and covered
with a berm along the west side of the track.
4) That the semi trailers used for storage be moved within
1 1/2 to 2 years from the date of approval of the conditional
use.
5) That any filling or grading which changes the grade
shall have adequate drainage to the street or other approved area
and must be provided directly from the property. Safe disposal
0
of any run off must be provided.

4) Add condition to the conditional use grant to the effect that
if the property is sold that the conditional use will be removed. (Alderman Taube spoke to City Attorney Molter and he
indicated that this could be accomplished by a deed restriction
or additional condition listed on the grant).
