RESOLUTION #P.C. 112-86
ESTABLISHING DEADLINES FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE THOMAS LANDFILL
WHEREAS, On June 5, 1986 certain deadlines were stated in a
letter sent to Mrs. Thomas and
WHEREAS, That letter stated that the deadline for the berm
along Racine Avenue was to be established by the Plan Commission,
and
WHEREAS, That letter set the deadline for the removal of
the gravel stock pile along Hillendale by November 1, 1986, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hribar at the Plan Commission meeting of June
17, 1986 stated that he needed at least until November 1, 1987 to
remove the stock pile, and
WHEREAS, There is a restoration bond in the amount of
$35,000.00
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission set the
deadline date of August 1, 1987 for the removal of the gravel
stock pile along the east side of the property and set the
deadline for the forming of the berm and completion of the
restoration along the west side of the property (Racine Avenue).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, If the above deadlines are not met,
the City will notify the bonding company and get estimates to
complete the restoration.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That at the direction of the Plan
Commission, the zoning officer will inform Mrs. Thomas what will
be required as far as elevations, landscaping and time tables
involved in the restoration.
