RESOLUTION #P.C. 164-85
RECONSIDERATION OF SIGNS
INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission approved signs for the
Industrial Park in Resolution #P.C. 163-85, and
WHEREAS, That resolution approved design #3, and
WHEREAS, The location of the signs was subject to the
approval of Public Works because of snow removal, and
WHEREAS, Public Works determined that because of the
design, the sign would act as a snow fence causing problems and
WHEREAS, Because the cost of that design was far more
expensive than other designs that were recommended, the Common
Council has recommended the Plan Commission approve design #8,
and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has authorized the advertising
of bids for four signs, one being located at the intersection of
Mercury and Highway 24, two signs at Gemini Drive and Apollo
Drive and the fourth sign at Saturn Drive and Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission is granting both concepts
known as #8 and #8a.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
a change in the design to #8 and #8a, and the locations as
indicated by the Common Council.
