APPROVAL OF FREE STANDING SIGNS
PROJECT EYE OPENER
WHEREAS, Section 6.09 (13) states that non-commerical signs
of a general informational nature such as community, welcome,
safety, warning or of other similar nature not to exceed 12 sq.
feet in area may be erected by service clubs or other non-profit
organizations upon approval of the Plan Commission of the
location, size and appearance of such sign, and
WHEREAS, Section 6.09 (8) states that these provisions shall
not apply to the signs erected by National, State, County, or
Municipal governmental agencies, including traffic and
informational signs, and
WHEREAS, The project core committee of Project Eye Opener
has requested permission to erect two (2) 4' x 8' signs to be
located on Janesville Road and College Avenue, and on Racine
Avenue and College Avenue,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby approve the two (2) 4' x 8' signs to
be located on Janesville Road at College Avenue near the "Muskego
Welcome" and on Racine Avenue at College near the "Muskego
Welcome" sign.
