RECOMMEND DENIAL TO COMMON COUNCIL FOR EXTRACTIVE PERMIT
THOMAS LANDFILL
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held, and
WHEREAS, Mary Thomas has submitted an application to extract
gravel in the SE 1/4 of Section 5, and
WHEREAS, this permit is for a limited amount of mining, and
WHEREAS, the gravel operation has ceased for 12 months and
is to be treated as a new application, and
WHEREAS, the previous pit has been restored, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding area is developed with r
homes, and

WHEREAS, there are far more than 30 homes within a one-half
mile radius, and
WHEREAS, the degree and effort of the dust and noise wuld
be detrimental to many dwellings in the immediate area.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego recommend disapproval for a permit for Thomas
Landfill to the Common Council.
