SALE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
(Lochcrest Drive)
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to sell city-owned property
located in the NE 1/4 of Section 8, former Lassa property, on
February 21, 1984, and was deferred to the Public Works Committee,
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee, at their meeting on
March 13, 1984, stated no objection to selling the portion of
the lot not needed for possible future street, and
WHEREAS, State Statutue 62.23(5) requires sale of city-owned
property be referred to the City Plan Commission for consideration
and approval, and
WHEREAS, we have received a memo from the Park & Recreations
Board dated January 24, 1980, opposing the sale and recommending
that the property be left in its natural state and be under the
jurisdiction of the Park & Recreation Board.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council that
they retain this land for recreational purposes in its natural
state.
