DENIAL OF SIGN LOCATED ON CANOPY
OPEN PANTRY
WHEREAS it is proposed to erect a sign on a canopy
at the Open Pantry, S66 W14501 Janesville Road, and
WHEREAS this 3' x 4'6" oval faced sign exceeds the
five percent allowable area on the face of the canopy, and
WHEREAS a 8' x 6' free standing sign was approved in
Resolution #P. C. 74-82 by the Plan Conmission on August 3,
1982, and
0 WHEREAS the Board of Appeals granted a variance of
8.3 ft. in size to permit a 8' x 6' sign.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission deny
the request for this sign because it does not meet the
requirements of the ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plan Commission refer
the applicant to the Board of Appeals for a variance.
