REAFFIRMING RECOMPENDATION TO DEh'Y SEWRPC PROPOSAL
TRANSIT SYSTEM
WHEREAS on December 7, 1982, the Plan Commission adopted
Resolution #P. C. 126-82, Recommending Denial of SEWRPC Pro-
posal - Transit System, and
WHEREAS the Common Council requested further review of
this matter, and
WHEREAS on January 18, 1983, Nr. Philip Evenson of SEWRPC,
appeared before the Plan Commission to further explain the plan
and to request approval, and
WHEKZAS the benefit to the City of Muskego was questioned.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Corrmission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Cormon Council to
deny SEWRPC's Planning Report No. 33, Primary Transit Plan for
the Plilwaukee Area, because the ultimate cost of the program
would exceed ally benefit derived by the City of Muskego.
