RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
CONTINUATION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTRACT AND PERMIT

WHEREAS, Waste Management has applied for renewal of a

WHEREAS contamination of the wells in the area has been
reported. and 0 WHEREAS the landfill site is located in an 1-2 District (General Industrial), and
WHEREAS this landfill site has been in operation for many
years, and
facility at no charge, and
WHEREAS City of Muskego residents make use of this
WHEREAS Department of Natural Resources approval is required.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
continuation of the sanitary landfill site by Waste Management
City of Muskego does hereby report to the Common Council that the
will have no greater affect on the area than it has in the past,
to the best of our knowled e. BE IT FURTHER RESOL& that this report does not usurp the
authority of the Common Council in the negotiating of a contract
with Waste Management.
