PCR1982116RESOLUTION #P c 116-82 RECOMMENDATION TO DENY REZONING REQUEST TAW LAND CORP. PROPERTY RS-2 to RS-2 00s) WHEREAS Doris G. Tarachow, President of Tara Land Corporation, has petitioned for rezoning of the property located on the south- east corner of Martin Drive and College Avenue, from RS-2 to RS-2 (00s) to permit construction of a medical clinic, and WHEREAS this property was formerly zoned B-2 and rezoned to RS-2 in 1974 when it was determined that the area would be best suited for residential development, and at that time Shagbark Subdivision was developed adjacent to this parcel, and WHEREAS a petition has been received containing 58 signatures, 0 registering opposition to the rezoning of this property, and WHEREAS there is a vacant lot at this intersection which is already zoned for business on which a clinic could be con- structed. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council that the rezoning request of Tara Land Corporation to rezone their property from RS-2 to RS-2 (00s) be denied because the area is best suited for residential development.
