APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO STORE MATERIAL ON LANDFILL SITE
THOYAS LANDFILL
WHEREAS a request.has been received from Thomas Landfill
to permit the storage of chrom blue split leather scraps at
the landfill site on Racine Ave. and Tans Drive, and
WHEREAS the request is for a maximum 12 month period,
with one load a day delivered five days a week, consisting of
35-40 yards per load, and
WHEREAS one day each week the five loads delivered that
week will be combined into the stockpile, and

WHEREAS the purpose of the stockpiling is to hold the
scrap until prices have increased, and
WHEREAS the Solid Waste Management Section of the Depart-
ment of Natural Resources has advised since the stockpiling
involves new materials, no solid waste license is required, and
WHEREAS the existing landfill site is a legal non-conforming
use in this B-2 District.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Comission of the
City of Muskego does hereby approve the request of Thomas Landfill
to store chrom blue split leather scraps at the landfill site on
Racine Ave. and Tans Drive for a maximum 12 month period.
