C. 80-81 EXPRESSING OPPOSITION TO PROPOSED CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CITY OF NEW BERLIN TOWN AND COUNTRY RECYCLING CENTER Town and Country to permit the northeast corner of College and WHEREAS the City of New Berlin has received a petition from Racine Avenue to be used for a garage to park trucks, an office, a truck repair shop and a separating and compacting building, and zoned RS-2 and the area north and east of the proposal is residen- tial, and WHEREAS the proposal is north of an area in the City of Muskego WHEREAS the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego wishes to express its concern for the following reasons: 1. The use of the area for separation and compacting of refuse is not compatible to the proposed residential land use to the south or to the existing residential area to the northeast. 2. A major drainage ditch traverses through the area with its outlet in the Linnie Lac pond which flows directly to Little Muskego Lake, and any disturbance of this well defined drainage ditch could create additional siltation of Linnie Lac pond and Little Muskego Lake, and City of Muskego that a commercial use more compatible to the WHEREAS it is the opinion of the Plan Commission of the area would be best for both communities, as well as the residents living in the area, and that the request of Town and Country be denied. WHEREAS the Plan Commission wishes to respectfully suggest THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City Of New Berlin that the request of Town and Country for a conditional of Muskego does hereby suggest to the Plan Commission of the City use which would permit construction of an office, truck repair shop and separating and compacting building in a commercial area located at the northeast corner of Racine and College Ave. be denied.
