RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE
ACCESSORY BUILDINGS
WHEREAS Section 4.05 (2) G. of the Zoning Ordinance
permits buildings of 100 sq. ft. and 7' in height to be
located 3' from the lot line, and
WHEREAS structures over 120 sq. ft. in area must have
Plan Commission approval as a second garage structure, and
WHEREAS this only limits buildings between 100 sq. ft.
and 120 sq. ft. to be placed according to offsets.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of
the City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common
Council that section 4.05 (2)G. of the Zoning Ordinance be
repealed and recreated as follows:
G. Accessory Buildings. On lots under 120,000 sq ft.,
one accessory building used for the purpose of storage
provided it does not exceed 120 sq. ft. in area and 8 ft.
of materials, equipment and supplies is permitted
the lot line, but no closer to the base setback line
in height. Such building is permitted within 3 ft. of
than the principal building.
