SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO
CONSIDER LAND DIVISION ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
BONDS AND PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW
WHEREAS effective November 1, 1980, state law regulating
the subdivision of land and the preparation and recording of
plats and survey maps has been changed to eliminate all refer-
ence to the Head of the Planning Function of the Department of
Local Affairs and Development and substitutes the Department of
Development, and extends from 40 days to 90 days the time within
which a municipality must act on preliminary plats, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has advised that Section 2.4
entitled Improvements should be changed to request a letter of
credit, cash or certified check to assure completion of subdi-

I vision improvements, and to eliminate the option of Bonding,
l and has recommended a public hearing be held.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
I City of Muskego does hereby set a public hearing for 7:30 P.M.
on Tuesday, November 18, 1980, to consider amending Sections
2.4 and 3.0 of the Land Division Ordinance.
