APPROVAL OF SIGN REQUEST
VALUE VILLAGE (PARKLAND MALL)
WHEREAS a request has been submitted by Charles Slater
Architects, Inc. for the addition of an A-type roof over the
eastern entrance to Parkland Mall on the south elevation to
frame a Value Village sign, and
WHEREAS the Commission has determined that to provide
the desired symmetry of the mall, it would be necessary to
add some type of structure over the western entrance on the
south elevation to carry out the "alpine" theme.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission (Archi-
tectural Control Comnittee) does hereby approve the request for
the addition of an A-type roof over the eastern entrance to
Parkland Mall on the south elevation to frame a Value Village
sign.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is subject to
the condition that the plans be submitted to the comission for
approval showing the treatment planned for the other entrances
to the mall.
