RECOMMENDATION TO DENY PROPOSED REZONING
TOWN OF RAYMOND. RACINE COUNTY
WHEREAS the Racine County Land Use Committee is considering
a request to rezone a 65 acre parcel of land on Hy. 45 in Section
6, Town of Raymond from A-2 General Farming and Residential
District I1 to M-3 Heavy Industrial District, and has requested
the City of Muskego to comment, and
WHEREAS Planning Consultant Mangiamele has recommended that
the City oppose the approval of such a rezoning in that it could
affect the future and proposed development for that part of the
City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS the sprawl of this type of development is highly
detrimental in character both from an environmental standpoint
as well as from a comprehensive planning approach.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Racine County Land
Use Committee that the proposed rezoning of a 65 acre parcel on
Hy. 45 in Section 6, Town of Raymond from A-3 General Farming and
Residential District I1 to M-3 Heavy Industrial District be denied.
