PCR1979189RESOLUTION #P. C. 189-79 (As Amended) RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP DANIEL STEWER prepared by Kit Kuokkanen, land surveyor, for a three parcel WHETREAS-iD. Stemper has submitted a certified survey map division of the Eleanor B. Fons property (formerly Froelich property) on Gold Drive in the SE 1/4 of Section 5, and WHEREAS it,is the general intent of the Land Division Ordinance to regulate the division of land, and in part pro- vides to: - Lessen Congestion in the streets and highways. - Further the orderly layout and appropriate use of land; - Prevent the overcrowding of land; - Restrict Building Sites on floodlands, shorelands, areas covered by poor soils, or in other areas poorly suited for development. smaller parcels of land, and - Facilitate the further division of larger tracts into WHEREAS Section 6.1 provides that minor subdivisions shall comply with the design standards set forth in Section 7.0 and Land Division Ordinance, and the improvement requirements set forth in Section 8.0 of the WHEREAS a review by the Plan Commission has determined that in accordance with Section 7.1 of the Land Division Ordinance it is in the best interest of the City not to permit accesses when other options are available, and directly onto Gold Drive, which serves as an arterial street, WHEREAS the preliminary map required in Section 6.1 of the Land Division Ordinance and the necessary data required by Section 4.2 has not been submitted, and WHEREAS it has been the policy of the City Plan Commission when considering minor subdivisions which are part of a larger acceptable design and layout for the balance of the property tract of land, not to approve the minor subdivision until an has been presented. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council denial of the certified survey map submitted by D. Stenper for a Drive in the SE 1/4 of Section 5 for the following reasons: three parcel division of the Eleanor B Fons property on Gold 1.
