DISAPPROVAL OF REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAT
JAKE WAUBEESEE ESTATES, TOWN OF NORWAY
WHEREAS a revised preliminary plat prepared by Donald E
Zenz, land surveyor, dated September 12, 1978, for a 56 lot
subdivision known as Lake Waubeesee Estates in the Town of
Norway, has been submitted to the Plan Commission, and
WHEREAS the City of Muskego disapproved the previous
preliminary plat prior to its being withdrawn, and
WHEREAS the plat has been reviewed by Planning Consultant
Mangiamele and he has reconmended that the plat be disapproved
€or the following reasons:
1. Severe topography on many of the lots could cause
problems in building sites and construction of
roads as platted.
2. Because of the character of the land, a planned
unit development approach would be more
suitable.
3. The proximity of the building sites in relation
to Outlot 1 (wetland flood plain) could be
detrimental to the environment, and the ownership
and maintenance of Outlot 1 is undetermined.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Conmission of the
City of Muskego does hereby disapprove, and recommends dis-
approJal to the Common Council, the preliminary plat as revised
for Lake Waubeesee Estates in the Town of Norway.
