RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL
REMOVAL OF OIP ZONING
AMERICAN COLLEGE
WHEREAS the Common Council in Resolution #147-78
reaffirmed their previous action to approve institutional
zoning for a four year liberal arts college to be known as
American College, and
WHEREAS it has become apparent that this property will
not be used as originally intended, and
WHEREAS the Plan Cormnission has denied non-college oriented
uses for this property, and
WHEREAS the Plan Commission has been directed to review
0 other alternatives, and
WHEREAS four alternatives were considered.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council
that they remove the OIP overlay, which will revert the property
to the basic zoning of RS-1.
