C. 44-78 DENIAL OF CHANCE OF USE AMERICAN COLLCGE WHEREAS in April of 1970, the Common Council approved a proposal by Dr. Gordon Drake for the construction of the herican College, including 96 living units to be used by indi- viduals attending collece, and connections were granted with the understanding that individuals WHEREAS the approval further provided that the sewer living in the residential units would be school oriented, and WHEREAS Mr. Martin Heise, Director of what is now American College Building Group, has requested that the facilities be used for a day care center and vocational education, and that Mr. Heise’s proposal does not meet the criteria established by the Plan Cornmission and Common Council when the American College was originally approved. which was a four year liberal arts college, and therefore the change suggested by Mr. Heise would require another public hearing. WHEREAS City Attorney Buckley has advised the plan Commission THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the the use of the American College facilities from a four year liberal City of Muskego does hereby deny the request of Mr. Heise to change arts college to a day care center and other non-collece oriented programs. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plan Commission refers this matter back to the Public Sewer Committee and the Common Council with the recommendation that a public hearing be held regarding the proposed changes in use.
