RI:COl!I-lLi.JDATION TO CHANGE L!P.UKEStiA COUNTY
STREET AND HIGHWAY WIDTH MAP
WHEREAS a revised Waukesha County Established Street and
Highway Width Map has been prepared by Waukesha County and sub-
mitted to the City of Muskego for approval, and
WHEREAS this map differs from their map adopted in 1954 and
no longer coincides with the City of Muskego Highway Width Map.
and
It is felt some changes are not in the best interest of the City,
WliEREAS it is recommended the county map be amended in the
following manner:
1. To extend KX (Calhoun Road) South to Lannon Drive and
Lannon Drive south of tiighway 24 be increased from 60'
increase the right-of-way from 80' to loo', and that
to 80'.
2. To increase the right-of-way of Woods Road east of
Racine Avenue from 80' to 100'.
3. To increase the right-of-way of South Denoon Road from
Highway Y west to Highway F from 60' to EO'.
4. Tess Corners Drive should also be shown on the map from
Highway 24 north to College Avenue and the width increased
from 80' to 100'.
5. To increase the right-of-way of Fiighway 24 west of Racine
Avenue from 100' to 120'.
6. To decrease the right-of-way of Racine Avenue from
Woods Road south to the north leg of Parker Drive from
130' to 100'.
TtiEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council that
ldidth Kap adopted October 6, 1977, until the above changes have
approval not be given to the I.!aukesha County Street and Highway
been made.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is recornmended that the Common
Council adopt a resolution to urge Waukesha County to change the
!-?aukesha County Street and Highway Width Map as recommended herein
