RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL
AMENDMENT TO LAND DIVISION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS Section 3.8 of the Land Division Ordinance requires
a Certified Survey Map be submitted when it is proposed to divide
land into not more than four (4) parcels, any one of which is
five (5) acres or less in size, and
WHEREAS the present ordinance does not require Certified
Survey Maps for divisions of more than five (5) acres to be
submitted for review, and
WHEREAS Section 3.9 of the Land Division Ordinance does not
require approval of the Common Council for Certified Survey Maps,
and
0 WHEREAS there are dedications and improvements required in
Section 8 of the Land Division Ordinance.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council that
Sections 3.8 and 3.9 of the Land Division Ordinance be amended to
require that all I divisions of land be submitted to the Plan
Commission for review and all Certified Survey Maps be approved
by both the Plan Commission and the Common Council.
