OPPOSING ZONING CHANGE
CITY OF FRANKLIN
WHEREAS the City of Muskego has received an official notice
from the City of Franklin advising that a public hearing will be
held on Thursday, March loth, at 8:15 P. M., at the Franklin city
hall, and
WHEREAS the hearing is being held to consider a petition
from Frank and Priscilla Staab to rezone approximately 5 acres of
property adjacent to -the~~City of Muskego-on North Cape Road from
R-2 Single Family Residence to B-3 Business District to permit
a planned building site for an automobile fleet, lease, sales and
servicing of motor vehicles, and
WHEREAS the area in question is predominately single family
and in the opinion of the Plan Commission such use would have an
adverse affect on the surrounding area and would not be a logical
place to locate a business.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City
of Muskego does hereby oppose the proposed rezoning of approximately
5 acres of property in the City of Franklin from R-2 to B-3 to
permit a planned building site for an automobile fleet, lease,
sales and servicing of motor vehicles.
