MUSKEGO VOLUNTEER FIRE CO. SUB-STATION
RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL
WHEREAS a petition submitted by Muskego Volunteer'Fire Co.
to rezone a parcel of property on the northeast corner of
Hillendale Drive and Lembezeder Drive from RS-2 to RS-2 with an
OIP Overlay (Institutional and Public Service) to permit ,the
construction and operation of a sub-station has been referred to
the Plan Commission for recommendation, and

WHEREAS a public hearing was held before the Comon Council
on Tuesday, May 25th, 1976, to consider this request and several
residents in the immediate vicinity expressed opposition to the
proposed sub-station citing as concerns - possible traffic
congestion, noise contamination by siren, possible danger to
children in this residential area and that the lot in question
would not lend itself to expansion of the fire facilities in the
future.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Comis?ion Of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend to the Common Council
that this petition submitted by the Muskego Volunteer Fire
Co. to rezone a parcel of property to RS-2 with an OIP overlay
to permit a sub-station be denied. -
