REAFFIRMING RJXCJMMENDATION
(SUN OIL CO. & SHAGBARK)
TO REZONE THE 8-2 DISTRICT IN SECTION 4 TO RS-2
WHEREAS the Plan Commission recommended to the Common Council
that approximately three acres of property in the triangle Of
College Avenue and Martin Drive in Section 4 be rezoned from 8-2
to RS-2 in June, 1974, and
WHEREAS the Common Council has referred this recommendation back
to the Commission for reconsideration, and
WHERJiAS the Plan Commission has been up-dating the Zoning District
Map to reflect development in accordance with the up-dated Comprehensive
Plan which was adopted by the Plan Commission in 1973 and which
indicates that this area would best be suited for residential develop-
ment, and

WHEREAS the Commission's recommendation was also based on the
fact that a portion of this area was granted a conditional use for
an automobile service station which was never constructed and because
a portion of this B-2 District is being developed residentially as
Shagbark Subdivision.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of
Muskego does hereby reaffirm its recommendation to the Common Council 0 that the B-2 District in Section 4 in the triangle of College Avenue
and Martin Drive be rezoned to RS-2.
