REAPP IRMI NG RECOMMENDAT1 ON To REZONE THE B-2 DISTRICT IN SECTION 16 TO RS-2
(MUSKEGO INDUSTRIAL PARK, INC. )
WHEREAS the Plan Commission recommended to the Common Council
that approximately 15 acres of the Muskego Industrial Park, Inc.,
property in Section 16 be rezoned from B-2 to RS-2 in June, 1974, and
WHEREAS the Common Council has referred this recommendation
back to the Commission for reconsideration, and
WHEREAS the Plan Commission has been up-dating the Zoning District
Map to reflect development in accordance with the up-dated Comprehen-
sive Plan which was adopted by the Plan Commission in 1973 and which
indicates that this area would best be suited for residential develop-
ment, and
0 WHEREAS Planning Consultant Mangiamele has recommended the rezoning,
and
WHEREAS the Commission’s recommendation was also based on the fact
that the area in question was rezoned for a commercial development in
1969 which did not materialize.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of
Muskego does hereby reaffirm its recornmendation to the Common Council
that the 8-2 District in Section 16 owned by Muskego Industrial Park,
Inc., be rezoned to RS-2.
