RECONMENDATION FOR' APPROj-L-AND PUBLIC HEARING
(SENIOR CITIZEN RETIFtF,MENT CENTER)
XHEREAS a proposal for a senior citizen retirement center was
referred to Planning Consultant Mangiamele for review of the site
plan, and to determine if it is sdficiently different from the
plan approved by the city for the Mus-kee-guac planned unit develop-
ment, and
WHEREAS Planning Consultant Mangiamele has recommended in his
report dated April 16th, 1974, that this type of development is
suitable to the area and contributes to a diversified development
and balanced growth, and
WHEREAS Planning Consultant Mangiamele also recommends that the
senior citizen retirement center differs significantly from the
character of the apartments originally proposed and that the public
and neighbors should be made awate of these new plans.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Plan Commission of the City
of Ikskego does hereby approve of the concept for a senior citizen
retirement center and recommends to the Common Council approval of
this change in development plans.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plan Commission recommends that
the plan proposed is sufficiently different from the original plan
and will warrant another public hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plan Commission reserves the
right to review and approve the architectural plans, site plans and
operational plans.
