SIGN REQUESTS - PIONEER PET SHOP
WHEREAS Les Sorenson, Jr., has submitted requests for signs
to advertise the Pioneer Pet Shop, W179 S7666 Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS the first request is to replace the context of the
existing facade sign, and
WHERFAS the second request is to replace the context of an existing,
free standing, 4' x 8' sign which formerly advertised a millwork in
Big Bend and which is located on the north side of Highway 24 west of
Crowbar Road, and
WHEREAS a directional sign shall not exceed 12 square feet in
size in accordance with Section 6.10 (5) of the Muskego Zoning Ordinance.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve of the first request to replace the
context of the existing facade sign.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plan Commission of the City of
Muskego does hereby deny the second request to replace the context of
the existing, free standing, 4' x 8' sign on the north side of Highway
24 west of Crowbar Road, because the square footage of said sign
exceeds that permitted by the Zoning Ordinance. -
