PCR2011047 RESOLUTION #P.C. 047-2011 RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL TO REZONE THE LALICATA PROPERTY FROM THE RS-3 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO B-2 LOCAL SERVICE CENTER DISTRICT AND A 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL LOCATED IN THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 10 (TAX KEY NO. 2200.996 / S78 W16355 Woods Road) WHEREAS, On October 7, 2011 a petition for a rezoning was submitted by the LaLicata’s to rezone a property from the RS-3 Suburban Residence District to the B-2 Local Service Center District (Tax Key Number 2200.996 / S78 W16355 Woods Road), and WHEREAS, The rezoning is requested to allow for the continued business/commercial uses on this property as a restaurant/bar exists here today and this same use has existed here for decades, and WHEREAS, The 2020 Comprehensive Plan calls for this area to be Medium Density Residential uses and a comprehensive plan amendment is required to Commercial, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning is before the Common Council on November 22, 2011 where no one spoke for or against. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning from RS-3 Suburban Residence District to the B-2 Local Service Center District and for a 2020 Comprehensive Plan amendment (Tax Key No 2200.996 / S78 W16355 Woods Road) subject to the following: Plan Commission City of Muskego Adopted: December 6, 2011 Defeated: Deferred: Introduced: December 6, 2011 ATTEST: Kellie McMullen, Recording Secretary
