APPROVAL OF AN AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE GRANT FOR MUSKEGO LAKES
COUNTRY CLUB LOCATED IN THE E ½ OF SECTION 26
(S100 W14020 LOOMIS ROAD / TAX KEY NOS. 2261.978, 2261.979.009, 2261.978.002,
2264.997.002, & 2264.999)
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted by John Burke III on January 19, 2010 for an Amended
Conditional Use Grant for Muskego Lakes Country Club located at S100 W14020 Loomis Road
in the E ½ of Section 26, and
WHEREAS, The Villages at Muskego Lakes Partnership (residential developer) and Muskego
Lakes Corporation (operator of Muskego Lakes Country Club) are looking to do a property
exchange of vacant land for golf course land, and
WHEREAS, There is a Conditional Use Grant (CUG) on the golf course property that needs to
be modified/amended to reflect the newly proposed property boundaries, and
WHEREAS, The proposed boundary amendments are a non-substantial change to the existing
Condition Use Grant since there is just a swapping of golf course and vacant land and since
there will be no change to the terms of the Conditional Use Grant, and
WHEREAS, No public hearing is necessary since this is a non-substantial change.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an Amended
Conditional Use Grant for Muskego Lakes Country Club located in the E ½ of Section 26.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval does not guarantee any future development
approvals and any future development of these areas will require separate approvals at that
time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the attorney for The Villages at Muskego Lakes Partnership
will have to prepare the proper documents for the City to record in order to modify the existing
CUG.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or
both.
