RESOLUTION #P.C. 028029-2009
RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF MUSKEGO (CP CONSERVATION PRESERVATION DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, The 2020 Comprehensive Plan recommends the adoption of a new Conservation
Preservation Zoning District for a number of parcels identified in the Plan, and
WHEREAS, The Conservation Preservation Zoning District would mandate that those parcels
develop by the City’s Conservation Subdivision ordinance should a land division occur, and
WHEREAS, The Conservation Preservation Zoning District is intended to assure that
Muskego’s rural properties are developed in the future in a way to preserve the City’s rural
open space and environmental corridors, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing regarding the CP Zoning District took place on March 10, 2009
and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends that the new CP
Conservation Preservation Zoning District be added to those parcels identified on the 2020
Comprehensive Plan map.
