AS AMENDED
JOINING THE NATIONAL SUBURBAN LEAGUE, LTD.
WHEREAS officials from several suburban communities in the Milwaukee
Waukesha Metropolitan area have banded together to form the National
Suburban League, Ltd., and
WHEREAS the purpose of the organization would be to present a
strong collective voice to articulate their needs and to protect
their revenues, and
WHEREAS recent pronouncements eminating from Washington as well as
from the local scene could radically effect the State Aid Programs
upon which the City of Muskego is greatly dependent, and
WHEREAS the Finance Committee has recommended that the City of
Muskego become a member of the organization,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby join the National Suburban League, Ltd., for
the purpose of adding their voice towards the protection of the
smaller suburban communities.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized to expend
the sum of $100.00 as membership dues for the year 1967. Monies
to be allocated from the General Fund.
