ccr1966219RESOLUTION #219 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 112 a 0 PRELIMINARY RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO EXERCISE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT POWERS UNDER SECTION 66.60, WISCONSIN STATUTES OF 1965. RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin: 1. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to exercise its power under s. 66.60, Wisconsin Statutes, to levy special assess- ments upon property within the following described area for special benefits conferred upon such property by reason of the improvement thereof by installation of sidewalks, driveway approaches, concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer along and in part of the street known as County Truck "Y" located in the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin; said property to constitute as assessment district known as Assessment District 112: All that part of Section 9, Town 5 North, Rage 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, described as follows: All that land abutting C.T.H. "Y"(Racine Ave.) from S.T.H. "24" to a point approximately 1750 feet South of S.T.H. "24". 2. The Common Council determines that such improvements shall be made under the police power and the amount assessed against each parcel,)) shall be based upon: Sidewalk 100% of the cost Driveways 100% of the cost Concrete Curb and Gutter 25% of the cost Storm Sewer No charge 3. The assessments against any parcel may be paid in cash or in five (5) annual installments. 4. The City Engineer is directed to prepare a report consisting of: a. Final plans and specifications for said improvements. b. An estimate of the entire cost of the proposed street and curb and gutter improvements. c. Schedule of proposed assessments. Upon completing such report the City Engineer is directed to file a copy thereof in the City Clerk's office for public inspection. 5. Upon receiving the report of the City Engineer, the Clerk is directed to give a Class I notice of a public hearing on such report as specified in s. 66.60 (7), Wisconsin Statutes. The hearing shall be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall at a time set by the Clerk in accordance with s. 66.60 (7) Wisconsin Statutes. Signed Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk
