ccr1966218RESOLUTION #218, AS AMENDED
TRANSFERRING $23,000.00 FROM ACCT. 11600 CONSTABLE
TO RESERVE ACCOUNT FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT
* WHEREAS the Budget for 1966 anticipated the establishment of
a police department some time furing that fiscal year, and
WHEREAS the establishment of the police department did not
materialize which resulted in an excess of $23,000.00 in
Acct. #600 Constable, and
WHEREAS the Public Safety Comittee has deemed it advisable
to transfer this excess to Reserve Account for Police Department
purposes to be used in the year 1967 rather than permit the
excess to revert to the General Fund, and
WHEREAS the police department budget for 1967, adopted November
22, 1966, anticipated that the surplus from 1966 would be
available for the police department in 1967,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the transfer of $23,000.00
from Acct. 11600 Constable, to Reserve Acct. #267, Police Depart-
men t .
