owned by Evelyn L. Schwefel is for sale, and
WHEREAS it would be advantageous to the City of Muskego to purchase
the property to aid them in constructing a flood gate to control the
level of Little Muskego Lake, and
WHEREAS a special committee known as the Little Muskego Lake Committee
has urged that the land be purchased in order that the flood gate
can be constructed which would aid them in their efforts to improve
Little Muskego Lake, and
0 WHEREAS the Little Muskego Lake Committee and the Public Welfare
Committee has suggested that all of this land be purchased under
the Open Space Act whereby the city could receive fifty per cent
from the Federal Government.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the Finance Committee to investigate
availability and price with Mrs. Evelyn Schwefel or her authorized
agent .
