URGING THE COUNTY SUPERVISORS TO VOTE FOR THE
CREATION OF A COUNTY WIDE RELIEF PROGRAM
WHEREAS the present Medicare Program will absorb a large part of the responsibility of the local communities relief programs, and e WHEREAS the representatives of those communities who are members of
the Waukesha County Welfare Group have voted by a large majority
to request the County to consider the establishment of the County
Relief Program through the present Welfare Department, and
WHEREAS this transfer of responsibility would take place when the
Waukesha County Group Welfare Department felt that it was no
longer feasible to operate effectively, and
WHEREAS the Waukesha County Board of Supervisors will be asked
to vote on the establishment of a County Wide Relief Program,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does respectfully urge the two County Board Supervisors
representing the City of Muskego to vote in favor of the adoption
by the County of a county wide system of relief.
