STREET LIGHTING DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego is changing from a rural to an urban area,
and whereas many years ago, a lighting utility district was created
by the old Town of Muskego,
AND WHEREAS, there is now a need for street lighting in many part
the City of Muskego and it is neither practical or feasible to either
expand the present lighting district or create new districts and it is
practical and feasible for the City of Muskego to assume and provide
lighting where necessary as a municipal function.
NOM THEREFORE be it resolved that the City Council hold a hearing on
the purpose of hearing the citizens of the City of Muskego regarding the
the 25th day of October, 1966 pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 66.07 for
vacating of the present and existing lighting utility district.
This resolution passed this 13th day of September, 1966.
