, kUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE
I TO WIDEN THE ENWRANCE TO KIPLING DRIVE AND
I EMERSON DRIVE '6 WHEREAS an extreme hazard has existed on the eastern edge of
the City near the entrance to the Fountainwood Subdivision and,
WHEREAS this hazard involves traffic using S.T.H. 24,and
WHEREAS the State of Wisconsin has agreed to alleviate the
problem by the construction of a third lane in that area, and
WHEREAS the State has indicated that the City would have to
provide the necessary funds to complete the project on Emerson
Dr., and Kipling Dr. by widening out these roads, and
money not to exceed $700.00,
WHEREAS it Is estimated that this can be done for a sum of
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Public Works Committee to
determine the necessity of the project and does hereby authorize
them to extend the necessary funds if they deem the project to
be worthwhile. e
