RESOLUTION #P.C. 057-2008
RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE 17TH AMENDMENT
TO THE WATER CAPACITY ASSESSMENT (WCA) DISTRICT
(MOORLAND COORIDOR AND SURROUNDING AREA)
WHEREAS, Recent development in the Moorland Corridor and in the surrounding area have necessitated
the expansion of municipal water service to said area, and
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee has endorsed the proposal, and the public interest would be
served by providing municipal water and enhancing fire protection services, and
WHEREAS, The extension of services to said area is consistent with the long range facility planning for the
Utility.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the
Common Council for the extension of municipal water service to the Moorland Corridor and surrounding
properties, as depicted in the 17th Amendment to the Water Capacity Assessment District.
