PCR2008090 PCR2008090_filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 016-2005 Print BestFit RESOLUTION #P.C. 090-2008 APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE (CARPORT) FOR THE CAPPAERT PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 24 (TAX KEY NO. 2255.999.001 / S91 W13311 BOXHORN DRIVE) WHEREAS, On October 13, 2008 a site plan, a narrative, and building photos were submitted by Thomas Cappaert to construct an accessory structure (miscellaneous screening device/carport) for the property located at S91 W13311 Boxhorn Drive (2255.999.001), and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RC-3, Country Residence District, and where said accessory structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review due to the requirements of the General Design Guide regarding miscellaneous screening devices, and WHEREAS, The proposed accessory structure (miscellaneous screen device/carport) will be 20’ x 22’ in size, totaling 440 square feet, and WHEREAS, Currently on the parcel is a house and an existing shed (168 square feet), and WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures on this property is limited to 1,416 square feet, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code, and WHEREAS, The carport will be about 70 feet away from the front lot line, 25 feet away from the west side lot line, and about 85 feet away from the wetland boundary, and WHEREAS, Since this is the second structure over 120 square feet in size on this property, Plan Commission must also approve the structure for said reason, and WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed of metal materials forest green in color with off-white trim and an off-white roll-up garage door and the house contains red brick with white siding. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves an accessory structure (miscellaneous screen device/carport), 440 square feet in area, submitted by Thomas Cappaert for a property located at S91 W13311 Boxhorn Drive (2255.999.001). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this is a permanent accessory screening device and must observe all property line setbacks/offsets.
