RESOLUTION #187-2007
APPROVAL OF 2007 CAPITAL BUDGET PURCHASE
TESS CORNERS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
(Replacement Generators for Stations #1 and #2)
WHEREAS, The approved 2007 Capital Budget included the following projects for the Tess
Corners Volunteer Fire Department:
Replacement Generators for Stations #1 and #2 $22,000 ($11,000 each)
WHEREAS, On June 12, 2007, the Finance Committee reviewed the purchase of the two
replacement generators for Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department and recommended
approval to the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council approved the expenditure of $22,000 for the replacement
generators with the adoption of Resolution #120-2007; and
WHEREAS, Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department has received a quotation from Wolter
Power Systems for the two generators at a total cost of $40,438; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the expenditure and has recommended
approval to the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, Payment for the equipment purchased by the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire
Department will be based on the actual cost as supported by an invoice submitted to the City
not to exceed $40,438 plus 10% for contingency if needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the purchase of two
replacement generators for Station #1 and Station #2 Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department
with payment based on the actual cost as supported by an invoice submitted to the City not to
exceed $40,438 plus 10% for contingency if needed.
