PCR2008074 ./PCR2008074_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 074-2008 Print BestFit 6 pt 6 pt 0   AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 074-2008 APPROVAL OF AN AMENDED BUILDING, SITE, AND OPERATION PLAN FOR A TEMPORARY SALES EVENT FOR PICK ‘N SAVE LOCATED AT S74 W17005 JANESVILLE ROAD (TAX KEY NO. 2199.999.065)   WHEREAS, On July 28, 2008, a request for a temporary sales event to be held at the Muskego Pick ‘n Save store at S74 W17005 Janesville Road was received, and   WHEREAS, The petitioner proposes to hold a grand re-opening event on August 21, 2008 and they are requesting to park two (2) one (1) semi-trailers within the parking lot as part of the event between August 21, 2008 and September 18, 2008, and   WHEREAS, The proposal includes the parking of two (2) one (1) semi-trailers within the existing parking lot in existing parking stalls near Janesville Road, and   WHEREAS, Since the placement of the trailers is within existing parking stalls there should be no problems or interference with traffic flow on the site, and   WHEREAS, The hours of the truckload sale will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a cashier will be present outside during this event to provide assistance to customers and take payment for the merchandise, and   WHEREAS, The specific merchandise for this sale is not yet known but similar sales at other Pick ‘n Saves have included products such as produce, bulk bottled water, bulk canned vegetables, and bulk paper products, and   WHEREAS, As part of the event the petitioner would like to place a 50’ x 6.5’ banner on each the trailer that will say “Truckload Sale” to advertise the event, and   WHEREAS, Plan Commission approval is required for outdoor sale events lasting more than a day and/or for longer term outdoor storage/parking of vehicles (semi trailers in this case), and   WHEREAS, Plenty of parking area is provided within this parking lot for customer parking.   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves the temporary sales event including limited term outdoor semi trailer parking at the Muskego Pick ‘n Save store.   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if any outdoor sales are going to include liquor, beer, or wine sales, an amendment to the liquor license would first be needed through the Clerks Office.   Plan Commission City of Muskego   Adopted:     August 5, 2008 Defeated:        Deferred:         Introduced: August 5, 2008 ATTEST: Kellie McMullen, Recording Secretary
