PCR2008071 ./PCR2008071_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 071-2008 Print BestFit RESOLUTION #P.C. 071-2008 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO VACATE RIGHT-OF-WAY ON KOSO DRIVE WEST OF GOLDEN COUNTRY DRIVE LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 2   WHEREAS, A request to vacate a street right-of-way was initiated by Jim Casper for property located in the SW ¼ of Section 2, and   WHEREAS, Said right-of-way is for Koso Drive, west of Golden Country Drive and was originally created as part of the Golden Country Estates Subdivision Plat, and    WHEREAS, Said right-of-way has always been unimproved and there are no plans for improvement, and   WHEREAS, Said dedication is not necessary to serve future development on adjoining properties as the adjoining site, Kohl’s Department Store, has already developed their portion of the land adjacent to this right-of-way, and   WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee will be reviewing this at their August 2008 meeting and initial comments from the Planning and Engineering Departments do not see any problems with the requested vacation, and   WHEREAS, There is an existing drainage easement on the adjoining properties to the north and south that should be continued across the western portion of the area of land that is being vacated.   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the Common Council the vacation of dedicated right-of-way for Koso Drive, west of Golden Country Drive, as depicted in the attached exhibits.   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That drainage easements must be recorded along the west side of the area of land that is being vacated.   Plan Commission City of Muskego   Adopted:   August 5, 2008 Defeated:        Deferred:         Introduced: August 5, 2008 ATTEST: Kellie McMullen, Recording Secretary
