COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #130-2007
AUTHORIZATION TO RAZE THE RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE
AT THE ENGEL CONSERVATION AREA
WHEREAS, The City acquired the Engel property in 2004 for conservation purposes;
and
WHEREAS, There is a residential structure on the property that the City initially
considered utilizing as an outdoor education facility; and
WHEREAS, It has become apparent that the building is in a dilapidated state and
extensive restoration would be needed for the structure to be used by the public; and
WHEREAS, The Conservation Commission has recommended that the building be
razed; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed a request by City personnel to raze
the building and has recommended approval to the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize
razing the residential structure at the Engel Conservation area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the necessary permits will be obtained for the
razing.
