COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #107-2007
RESOLUTION REGARDING REORGANIZATION/RETITLING OF POLICE
DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, The current Muskego Police Department's administrative structure consists
of the following positions:
Police Chief
1 Captain - Second in Command
1 Lieutenant
5 Staff Sergeants (4 Patrol Staff Sergeants and 1 Detective Staff Sergeant)
3 Patrol Sergeants
WHEREAS, The Chief of Police has proposed to reorganize and retitle the Police
Department Administrative positions; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the request and has recommended
the following Police Department administrative structure:
Police Chief
2 Captains - Division Commanders
5 Lieutenants (Formerly designated as Staff Sergeants)
3 Sergeants
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Common Council, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the reorganization
and retitling for the Muskego Police Department administration as identified above.
