RESOLUTION #065-2007
. AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE THREE POLICE DEPARTMENT VEHICLES
WHEREAS, The Police Department is requesting authorization to purchase three fully
marked 2007 Ford Crown Victoria vehicles as approved in the 2007 Operating Budget;
and
WHEREAS, The vehicles would be purchased through the V.A.L.U.E. Cooperative
Purchasing Program which has awarded the squad bid to Ewald Automotive Group;
WHEREAS, The unit price of each 2007 Ford Crown Victoria is $20,614, which brings
the total purchase price to $61,842; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the request and has recommended
approval of the 2007 purchase to the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize
the purchase of three fully marked 2007 Ford Crown Victoria vehicles for the Muskego
Police Department in the amount of $61 ,842.
