ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL BETWEEN GILES ENGINEERING
AND RUEKERT AND MIELKE FOR
SEDIMENT TESTING AND AWARD OF BID FOR
LAKEWOOD MEADOWS SUBDIVISION DETENTION POND REHABILITATION
PROJECT
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Lakewood Meadows Subdivision
Detention Pond Rehabilitation project and the following bids were received:
K & L Construction, Inc.
Capitol Pavers, Inc.
Fischer Construction LLC
Wíllkomm Excavating and Grading, Inc.
Schneider Excavating, Inc.
A. W. Oakes and Son, Inc.
Valia Excavating, Inc.

WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee and Finance Committee have reviewed the
bids and recommend that the bid submitted by K & L Construction in the amount of
$48,370.50 be accepted for the Lakewood Meadows Subdivision Detention Pond
Rehabilitation project; and
WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee and Finance Committee have reviewed the
proposal between Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. and Ruekert and Mielke to provide
sediment sampling and testing services for the project at a total estimated cost of
$5,913.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works Committee and Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the bid of K & L Construction in the amount of
$48,370.50 for the Lakewood Meadows Subdivision Detention Pond Rehabilitation
Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon
the recommendation of the Public Works Committee and Finance Committee, does
hereby accept the proposal between Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. and Ruekert &
Mielke for sediment testing for the Lakewood Meadows Subdivision Detention Pond
Rehabilitation Project at a cost of $5,913.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to sign any changes at his
discretion upon recommendation of City Engineers Ruekert & Mielke.
